Microsoft has just dropped a brand new app called Bing Wallpapers, which brings daily wallpapers to Android devices. While Bing is hit-or-miss in terms of search results, one thing most users agree on is that the daily images it features are stunning.
The Bing Wallpapers app promises to feature backgrounds with beautiful photos from around the world, giving users some fantastic images to take in each day on their phone or tablet.
By default, users can flip through the images and choose one for their wallpaper, but what makes Bing Wallpapers worth downloading is the ability to have it automatically change pictures each day, keeping the device feeling fresh and exciting. Users will need to find the option in the drawer before it’s enabled, though. Additionally, they will need to grant it the ability to update images with mobile data.
Aside from actually giving users beautiful images to use on their devices, the app also has background information on the photos, which makes it easy to learn something new while users make their phones look pretty.
The app is free and features no ads or in-app purchases, so there aren’t any extras that users need to worry about messing with their enjoyment of the images.
The one early complaint we see about Bing Wallpapers is a lack of panoramic views for the photographs. Instead, the app just crops the image and uses it on each page. It’s something Microsoft could address in a future update, and it’s not something that will annoy everyone, but it is worth keeping in mind before you download it.
Some users are reporting that the app isn’t showing up on Google Play on their devices. If that’s the case, you can download an APK file from APK Mirror.
