The Prom
It’s time to put on your dancing shoes, as Netflix gets ready to release its blockbuster musical The Prom on December 11. The new trailer shows Nicole Kidman, Meryl Streep, James Corden, and Andrew Rannells as they band together to rescue prom night in Indiana. They play a group of Broadway actors who travel to the state to fight for a gay student’s (Jo Ellen Pellman) right to take her girlfriend to prom. The trailer has pomp, show, and everything you’d expect from a high school musical.
Red, White and Blue
Steve McQueen’s upcoming films on Amazon Prime Video are creating quite the stir in streaming circles. The new movie trailer for Red, White and Blue has John Boyega don the role of a police officer in the third installment of the five titles releasing under McQueen’s Small Axe banner in December. The movie is inspired by the true story of Leroy Logan, a former superintendent in the Metropolitan police who fought racism within the department and outside of it.
Heaven’s Gate: The Cult of Cults
The new movie trailer for this HBO Max documentary focuses on one of the most dangerous cults to ever exist in the US. Heaven’s Gate was a California-based UFO religion group that brainwashed people into believing they would become superior alien beings and travel to an extraterrestrial spacecraft after committing suicide. 39 of its members, including founder Marshall Applewhite, participated in a mass suicide in 1997. This is their story.
Coyote
Coyote is an upcoming CBS All Access series that tells the story of a border patrol agent named Ben Clemens (Michael Chiklis). After 32 years of service, he is forced to work for the very people he spent his career trying to keep out of America. His new role forces him to reevaluate his views of the world, challenging his ideology and his loyalties.
