The week gone by gave us a pleasant surprise with the announcement of the new Wonder Woman film releasing on HBO Max. Warner Bros. even put out a new movie trailer announcing the Xmas release of the Gal Gadot movie. We also got another look at Zack Snyder’s upcoming Justice League cut as well as a full trailer for Steven Soderbergh’s streaming movie starring a golden Hollywood Trio — Meryl Streep, Dianne Wiest, and Candice Bergen.

Wonder Woman 1984
The much-delayed superhero sequel is finally headed to a streaming screen near you on December 25. The new movie trailer for Wonder Woman 1984 shows the princess of Themyscira soaring through the skies, donning her golden eagle armor, and fighting off Kristen Wiig’s Cheetah villain. One Night In Miami
Amazon Prime Video finally gave us a new movie trailer for Regina King’s critically acclaimed directorial debut. The film tells the story of a fictional meeting between four legends — Malcolm X, Muhammad Ali, Jim Brown, and Sam Cooke. The trailer shows the quartet getting together in a hotel room in Miami to celebrate Ali’s 1964 win over heavyweight champion Sonny Liston. What follows is a powerful meeting of the minds and a conversation that spans a night.
Pieces Of A Woman
A Martin Scorsese production, Pieces Of A Woman tells the story of a Boston couple on the verge of parenthood. However, their lives tragically change when a home birth ends in their child’s death. The Crown’s Vanessa Kirby takes the lead as the bereaved mother, supported by Shia LaBeouf who plays her husband. The movie also stars Molly Parker as a mid-wife and Ellen Burstyn as Kirby’s domineering mother.
The Wilds
The new trailer for this upcoming Amazon Prime Video original series reminds us a lot of Lost. Just replace the adults with a group of teenage girls in the equation and you’ve got yourself a survival drama targeted at the younger crowd. The castaway teens find themselves stranded on a deserted island after a plane crash, and the show follows their clashes and bonding experiences as they fight to survive.
Zack Snyder’s Justice League
You’ve probably seen the trailer for Zack Snyder’s Justice League playing to Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” a bunch of times by now. I know I have. This new movie trailer shared by Snyder commemorates three years of the film’s theatrical release. The footage is almost the same as the previous trailer, save for a few new scenes we’ve not seen before. Keep your eyes peeled for some new shots of Cyborg, Darkseid, Hippolyta, and more.
Let Them All Talk
The final new movie trailer in our roundup this week brings together three legendary actresses — Meryl Streep, Dianne Wiest, and Candice Bergen — in a lighthearted Steven Soderbergh HBO Max title. Let Them All Talk sees the trio of Hollywood divas get together for a girl’s trip to have some fun and heal some old wounds. The movie starts streaming on December 10.
