According to XDA Developers, the carrier is now rolling out an update to the Note 20 Ultra that activates its eSIM capabilities. The phone also adds support for DSDS (Dual SIM Dual Standby), and packs in some bug fixes and security improvements.
The Galaxy S21 series also officially has eSIM capabilities, but no carrier in the US has enabled support for the lineup just yet. This makes the Note 20 Ultra the first Samsung phone in the US to offer working eSIM support.
