We’ve come a long way — 27 years to be exact — since that first Friends episode, the one where Monica gets a roommate, aired on TV. Being a 90’s kid, I for one am looking forward to the reunion episode coming up on HBO Max. We got a small teaser for it this week, but it’s enough to get Friends fans excited.
Meanwhile, today’s streaming trailer roundup also includes some fresh and returning titles headed to popular platforms you subscribe to. So let’s make haste and see what’s in store.
Friends: The Reunion
The long-awaited Friends reunion finally got a release date on HBO Max. Walking arm-in-arm, the brief new trailer shows the six most popular friends in the world heading towards a stage after 17 years! We’re definitely pepped for this one. Are you?
Lupin Part 2
The gentleman thief is back for another round of deceptions in part 2 of Netflix‘s popular French TV series. If you haven’t seen the first part, now would be a good time to catch up on the five episodes. For those of you who did catch the show, the new trailer shows that Assane Diop has landed himself in a pickle. His son’s been kidnapped and he’s on a quest for revenge against Hubert Pellegrini. What’s the new plan? Your guess is as good as ours.
Fatherhood
This new movie trailer is all heart, emotionally speaking and also it’s got Kevin Hart in it playing a single dad raising a baby daughter. The film arrives just in time for the Father’s Day weekend this June and is based on author Matt Logelin’s memoir “Two Kisses for Maddy.”
Panic
The trailer for this upcoming Amazon Prime Video series teases a wild Fear Factor-like game called Panic. Graduating seniors in a small Texas town play it to win a life-changing amount of money that’ll help them escape their circumstances and live the way they want. Of course, nothing comes easy and the game is more dangerous than ever as players face their deepest, darkest fears and are forced to decide how much they are willing to risk to win.
Solos
Another upcoming Amazon Prime Video series, Solos comes packed with some of the biggest names from Hollywood, including Anne Hathaway, Morgan Freeman, Anthony Mackie, Helen Mirren, and others. The new trailer gives us a glimpse into the seven individual stories — solos — with each character in an isolated environment. There’s also a sci-fi element at play here, but we can’t really tell what it is just yet. The only thing we know from the show’s logline is that it’s supposed to depict how humans are still connected even in their most lonely moments.
