- It looks like Xiaomi is bringing the Redmi Note 10 5G to India soon.
- The phone will likely launch as the Redmi Note 10T 5G.
Xiaomi held a global launch for a variety of Redmi Note 10 series devices earlier this year, but one phone hasn’t actually made it to India. Now, it looks like the manufacturer is ready to bring this device to market under a slightly different name.
Amazon India has teased the arrival of a new Xiaomi phone in the region, with MySmartPrice noticing that the header image URL contains the Redmi Note 10T 5G name. Check out the URL in the screenshot below.
The Redmi Note 10T 5G previously launched in Russia, but it’s actually a slightly rebranded Redmi Note 10 5G that was launched globally alongside the rest of the Redmi Note 10 series earlier this year.
So that means you’re getting a Dimensity 700 chipset, 90Hz LCD screen, 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging, and a triple rear camera (albeit 48MP+2MP+2MP). In other words, you’re essentially paying for 5G connectivity here rather than a stacked mid-range spec sheet. But there’s still no official word on a 5G network rollout in India just yet. For what it’s worth, the vanilla 4G model has a 120Hz OLED screen, faster charging, and a more useful secondary camera.
There’s no word on Indian pricing either, but the vanilla Redmi Note 10 and Redmi Note 10 5G had the same global launch price ($200). So it stands to reason that the 5G model and standard variant could share a similar price in India too.
