This week’s Android Authority streaming trailer roundup is not a very lengthy one, but we’ve got some interesting picks for you to go over. There are two Michael Keaton titles — one coming to Netflix and the other to Hulu — that seem very compelling. Both are based on true events, including one on the worst terror attack and another on the worst drug epidemic in America. Take a look.

The best new movie trailers and TV show teasers for upcoming streaming titles

Worth

Michael Keaton and Stanley Tucci star in this upcoming Netflix movie that chronicles the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks. Based on true events, the film focuses on Congress-appointed attorney Kenneth Feinberg’s impossible task of leading the Victim Compensation Fund. Allocating financial resources to the victims is no piece of cake. Just what is a human life worth? The question forms the basis of this endeavor, which finds Feinberg locking horns with Charles Wolf (Tucci), a community organizer who helps him realize the human costs of the tragedy.

Clickbait

We previously got a tiny glimpse of this Netflix thriller series, but now we have a full-fledged trailer to show off. It opens with a wife’s plea to the kidnappers of her husband, Nick. “He’s kind, loving, and gentle,” she says, and in the next shot, we see him holding a placard that reads, “At 5 million views, I die.” Does he really deserve sympathy, or has he done something unforgivable to deserve his punishment? It looks like it’s that latter as subsequent shots seem to suggest he’s an abuser and a murder. The mystery unfolds on Netflix later this month.

Midnight Mass

An eerie trailer serves up our first look at Mike Flanagan’s Midnight Mass. The clip shows us a small, isolated island community where something really ungodly is going on. Dead animals on the beach, massive thunderstorms, and zombie-looking ladies set the premise for the seven-part horror series starring Zach Gilford and Hamish Linklater. The show hits the platform on September 24.

Everybody’s Talking About Jamie

A true story inspires this Amazon Prime Video title. It follows Jamie New (Max Harwood), a Sheffield teen who secretly dreams of becoming a drag queen and having a grand life on stage. In the colorful and vibrant trailer, we see Jamie expressing his desires to his best friend Pritti (Lauren Patel) and his loving mum (Sarah Lancashire). The movie will also feature some fantastic musical performances, with music by Dan Gillespie Sells and book and lyrics by Tom MacRae.

Dopesick

Inspired by the true story of how Americans got addicted to OxyContin, this Hulu mini-series brings together Michael Keaton, Peter Sarsgaard, Kaitlyn Dever, Rosario Dawson, and Michael Stuhlbarg as the main cast. The trailer recounts how the pharma company responsible for making the drug lied to doctors and the public claiming that less than 1% of the people who take it get addicted. Touted as the “magic drug,” it doesn’t take long for authorities and experts to realize that it has triggered the worst drug epidemic in American history.
