  • The Axon 30 is launching globally on Sept. 9 for $499, €499, or £429.
  • The phone is a less expensive mainstream edition of the Axon 30 Ultra and Pro.
  • Some features include a 6.92-inch, 120Hz OLED display and 64-megapixel main camera.

ZTE‘s Axon 30 is going on worldwide sale Sept. 9, with prices starting at $499, €499, or £429, depending on the market. That price will get buyers a version with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, according to Pocketnow. Paying $599, €599, or £519 raises those specifications to 12GB and 256GB, respectively.

All variants of the phone have a 6.92-inch 120Hz OLED display, a Snapdragon 870G processor, and a microSDXC card slot. Cameras include a 64-megapixel wide unit, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide, and a 5-megapixel macro shooter, as well as a 16-megapixel under-display selfie.

The Axon 30 shouldn’t be confused with the Axon 30 Ultra or Pro, both of which are already available. The Ultra has upgrades like a 144Hz refresh rate, a Snapdragon 888 chip, and four rear-facing cameras that handle everything from ultra-wide shots to 5x optical zoom and 60x digital zoom.

The Axon 30 shipped in ZTE’s native Chinese market earlier in August, excluding Hong Kong and Macao. The phone will soon be available across five continents, although there are some notable gaps. Its North American release doesn’t include Mexico for instance, and there’s no mention at all of Australia or New Zealand.
